Taking a deep dive into my b-sides
I only play the hits while they're looking for a place to sit
Shake your hips, let the flame grace your lips
Weight'll shift from a kiss made of bricks
Now that the musical charity case is seated...
... anyone else notice the walls bleeding?
Cross breeding - square root meet round number
Fuck you and the rock you were found under
How come it's always gotta come to a head
Til the monster crawls out from under your bed
Puts a gun to your head and says, "Thank you for the one night stand,
But I was hoping for commitment: upright, in sunlight."
Instead you've got doormats for formats
An album full of features cause you half assed your half
Support staff crushing your margins ordering door dash
And a virgin gatekeeper rocking an ironic porn stash
But what's ironic - about tyrannical irony
Nothing iconic - about puncturing my privacy
I am sardonic - about existence entirely
We are platonic - because death wouldn't hire me
Verse 2 (Cas One):
So I’m working through the temp service actually
Limp through life and give it purpose from the back seat
I wear my scars like the rings of a pimp smacked me,
Chewing on my teeth cause I bit through my lip,
Shooting from the hip at kids acting hip
I am 100 percent and really truly the shit
if you ain’t feeling me that’s making you a bitch
It’s the sitch old enough to cross stitch
but cool enough to know cool doesn’t exist
That’s rich …richer than them rappers that ain’t,
Whatchu you think my think tanks a Sherman tank,
And I’ll ghost ride this whip while I birth my own lane
Aye paid my dues and never missed a payment
staring down my nose sideways like Larry david
Strange famous and I mean that how I live my life
You don’t know me check your mother fuckin vital signs
Cause you ain’t lived your life right and baby it’s time

Sometimes you come across an artist that is compelled to do what they do.
I appreciate the musicality and the arrangement and the artistry of the songs. He sings and plays like his life depends on it. I appreciate the humanity of the lyrics… Like reading Tortilla Flats, or watching Nobody’s Fool.
Ceschi is a bright star. I’m glad he’s loose in the world. oldtruck

Absolutely love this record, and so happy Buck is back, but is it just me or does Buck’s voice sound totally different from his mid-2000s Talkin’ Honky era stuff? Like his voice is higher and smoother, I wasn’t even sure it was him. Is this a return to his really early straight hip-hop stuff, without the country and blues influences? misanthropologist
